Harry Deane (Firth Collin) to avenge his boss Lionel Shahbandar (Alan Rickman) decides to scam him by buying a fake Monet. A forger (Tom Courtenay) whose work is admirable composed a table - for two reasons because it is this character who introduces the story - including Harry rewrites history: Monet was stolen by an American soldier and would be at its PJ Puznowski girl (Cameron Diaz), a Texas cowgirl. Harry must convince the young woman to participate in the scam.
